Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/849 of 7 December 2016 amending Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the maps in Annex I and the list in Annex II to that Regulation (Text with EEA relevance) THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013 on Union guidelines for the development of the trans-European transport network and repealing Decision No 661/2010/EU OJ L 348, 20.12.2013, p. 1. , and in particular Article 49(4) thereof, Whereas: (1) Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013 provides for the possibility to adapt Annexes I and II as regards infrastructure components of the comprehensive network to take account of possible changes resulting from the quantitative thresholds laid down in Articles 14, 20, 24 and 27. (2) In view of the latest available statistics published by Eurostat or, in certain cases, by the national statistics offices, it is necessary to include in the comprehensive network the logistic platforms, rail-road terminals, inland ports, maritime ports and airports for which the latest two-year average of their traffic volume exceeds the relevant threshold. (3) It is also necessary to adjust the maps for road, railway and inland waterway infrastructure in a strictly limited way so as to reflect progress in completing the network. (4) Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013 should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013 is amended as follows: (1) Annex I is replaced by the text in Annex I to this Regulation; (2) Part 2 of Annex II is amended in accordance with Annex II to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
