Council Decision (CFSP) 2020/754 of 8 June 2020 extending the mandate of the Head of Mission of the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union and in particular Articles 42(4) and 43(2) thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Whereas: (1) On 22 July 2014, the Council adopted Decision 2014/486/CFSP Council Decision 2014/486/CFSP of 22 July 2014 on the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) (OJ L 217, 23.7.2014, p. 42). on the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine). (2) On 13 May 2019, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2019/761 Council Decision (CFSP) 2019/761 of 13 May 2019 amending Decision 2014/486/CFSP on the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) (OJ L 125, 14.5.2019, p. 16). extending the mandate of the Mission until 31 May 2021. (3) On 4 June 2019, the Political and Security Committee adopted Decision (CFSP) 2019/992 Political and Security Committee Decision (CFSP) 2019/992 of 4 June 2019 on the appointment of the Head of Mission of the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) (EUAM Ukraine/1/2019) (OJ L 160, 18.6.2019, p. 24). appointing Mr Antti HARTIKAINEN as Head of Mission for the period from 1 July 2019 until 30 June 2020. (4) On 14 May 2020, the Political and Security Committee agreed that Mr Antti HARTIKAINEN should continue to perform this function until 31 May 2021, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The mandate of Mr Antti HARTIKAINEN as Head of Mission of EUAM Ukraine is hereby extended until 31 May 2021.

Article 2
