Commission Delegated Decision (EU) 2023/2581 of 12 September 2023 correcting certain language versions of Decision 2000/532/EC (Text with EEA relevance) THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 November 2008 on waste and repealing certain Directives OJ L 312, 22.11.2008, p. 3. , and in particular Article 7(1) thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Decision 2014/955/EU Commission Decision 2014/955/EU of 18 December 2014 amending Decision 2000/532/EC on the list of waste pursuant to Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ L 370, 30.12.2014, p. 44). amended Commission Decision 2000/532/EC Commission Decision 2000/532/EC of 3 May 2000 replacing Decision 94/3/EC establishing a list of wastes pursuant to Article 1(a) of Council Directive 75/442/EEC on waste and Council Decision 94/904/EC establishing a list of hazardous waste pursuant to Article 1(4) of Council Directive 91/689/EEC on hazardous waste (OJ L 226, 6.9.2000, p. 3). establishing the list of waste pursuant to Directive 2008/98/EC. (2) The Danish language version of Decision 2000/532/EC contains errors in the Annex, Section Definitions, points 2 and 4, Section Assessment and classification, point 1, fourth sentence, point 2, second paragraph, fifth indent, the introductory sentence and errors throughout the table in Section List of Waste. Thοse errors alter the meaning of the provisions. (3) The Greek language version of Decision 2000/532/EC contains errors in the Annex, Section List of Waste, the table, first column, rows 01 03 99, 01 04 08 and 06 02 which alter the meaning of the provisions. (4) The Danish and Greek language versions of Decision 2000/532/EC should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
