Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2024/773 of 4 March 2024 amending Decision 2009/992/EU as regards minimum requirements for additional data to be entered in the national electronic register of road transport undertakings (notified under document C(2024) 1120) (Text with EEA relevance) THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1071/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 establishing common rules concerning the conditions to be complied with to pursue the occupation of road transport operator and repealing Council Directive 96/26/EC OJ L 300, 14.11.2009, p. 51. , and in particular Article 16(1), second subparagraph, thereof. Whereas: (1) Article 16(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1071/2009 requires that each Member State keeps a national electronic register of road transport undertakings which have been authorised by a competent authority designated by it to engage in the occupation of road transport operator. The national electronic registers are to include at least the data set out in Article 16(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1071/2009. (2) Regulation (EU) No 2020/1055 of the European Parliament and of the Council Regulation (EU) 2020/1055 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 July 2020 amending Regulations (EC) No 1071/2009, (EC) No 1072/2009 and (EU) No 1024/2012 with a view to adapting them to developments in the road transport sector (OJ L 249, 31.7.2020, p. 17). amended Article 16(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1071/2009, by providing for additional data to be entered in the national electronic registers. (3) In order to facilitate the interconnection of the national electronic registers, the Commission has adopted Decision 2009/992/EU Commission Decision 2009/992/EU of 17 December 2009 on minimum requirements for the data to be entered in the national electronic register of road transport undertakings (OJ L 339, 22.12.2009, p. 36). . Decision 2009/992/EU should make provision for the additional data to be included in the national electronic registers. (4) Decision 2009/992/EU should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The Annex to Decision 2009/992/EU is replaced by the Annex to this Decision.
