Council Decision (CFSP) 2024/2504 of 23 September 2024 amending Decision 2012/285/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Guinea-Bissau THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Whereas: (1) On 31 May 2012, the Council adopted Decision 2012/285/CFSP Council Decision 2012/285/CFSP of 31 May 2012 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Guinea-Bissau and repealing Decision 2012/237/CFSP (OJ L 142, 1.6.2012, p. 36). . (2) Pursuant to Article 5(2) of Decision 2012/285/CFSP, the Council reviewed the restrictive measures in view of the situation in Guinea-Bissau, and considers that one person should be removed from the list of persons subject to restrictive measures, as set out in Annex II to that Decision, and three persons should be removed from the list of persons subject to restrictive measures, as set out in Annex III to that Decision. (3) Decision 2012/285/CFSP should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Annexes II and III to Decision 2012/285/CFSP are amended in accordance with the Annex to this Decision.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. Done at Brussels, 23 September 2024. For the Council The President Z. Feldman

(2) In Annex III to Decision 2012/285/CFSP (List of persons, entities or bodies referred to in Article 2), the entries concerning the persons listed below are deleted: 13. Tchipa NA BIDON 16. Idrissa DJALÓ 21. Lieutenant Julio NA MAN.
