Council Decision (CFSP) 2024/2702 of 14 October 2024 amending Decision (CFSP) 2023/2287 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Niger THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Whereas: (1) On 23 October 2023, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2023/2287 Council Decision (CFSP) 2023/2287 of 23 October 2023 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Niger (OJ L, 2023/2287, 24.10.2023, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2023/2287/oj). . (2) Decision (CFSP) 2023/2287 applies until 24 October 2024. On the basis of a review of that Decision, the restrictive measures set out therein should be extended until 24 October 2025. (3) Decision (CFSP) 2023/2287 should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

In Article 9 of Decision (CFSP) 2023/2287, the first paragraph is replaced by the following: This Decision shall apply until 24 October 2025..

Article 2
