Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1282 of 7 May 2024 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/128 setting the net balance available for EAGF expenditure THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2021/2116 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 2 December 2021 on the financing, management and monitoring of the common agricultural policy and repealing Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013 OJ L 435, 6.12.2021, p. 187, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2021/2116/oj. , and in particular Article 14(2) thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/128 Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/128 of 3 February 2021 setting the net balance available for EAGF expenditure (OJ L 40, 4.2.2021, p. 8, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg_impl/2021/128/oj). sets the net balance available for the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) expenditure, as well as the amounts available to the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) for the budget years 2021 to 2027. (2) In accordance with Article 14(1) of Regulation (EU) 2021/2116, the annual ceiling for the EAGF expenditure is to be constituted by the maximum amounts for the sub-ceiling for market related expenditure and direct payments set out in Annex I to Council Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2020/2093 Council Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2020/2093 of 17 December 2020 laying down the multiannual financial framework for the years 2021 to 2027 (OJ L 433I, 22.12.2020, p. 11, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2020/2093/oj). . (3) Following the mid-term review of the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for the years 2021 to 2027 as laid down in Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2020/2093, the sub-ceiling for market related expenditure and direct payments for the years 2025 to 2027 has been modified as set out in Council Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2024/765 Council Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2024/765 of 29 February 2024 amending Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2020/2093 laying down the multiannual financial framework for the years 2021 to 2027 (OJ L, 2024/765, 29.2.2024, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2024/765/oj). . (4) It is therefore necessary to adjust the net balance available for EAGF expenditure for years 2025 to 2027 as set by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/128. (5) Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/128 should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

The Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/128 is replaced by the text in the Annex to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the seventh day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
