Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2025/526 of 21 March 2025 designating a Union testing facility for electromagnetic compatibility in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 of the European Parliament and of the Council THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on market surveillance and compliance of products and amending Directive 2004/42/EC and Regulations (EC) No 765/2008 and (EU) No 305/2011 OJ L 169, 25.6.2019, p. 1, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2019/1020/oj. , and in particular Article 21(2) thereof, Whereas: (1) Article 1(1) of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1267 Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1267 of 20 July 2022 specifying the procedures for the designation of Union testing facilities for the purposes of market surveillance and verification of product compliance in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 of the European Parliament and of the Council (OJ L 192, 21.7.2022, p. 21, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg_impl/2022/1267/oj). provides that public testing facilities of Member States are to be designated as Union testing facilities following a call for expression of interest. (2) The Commission launched the call for expression of interest CFEI/GRO/IMA/25/2711/14318 for three categories: construction products, electromagnetic compatibility, and pollutant emissions of non-road mobile machinery. (3) The Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania applied in the context of the call for expression of interest for the selection as Union testing facility for electromagnetic compatibility. (4) An evaluation of the application made by Lithuania was carried out pursuant to the applicable rules and the conditions set out in the call for expression of interest. (5) Based on the results of the evaluation, the Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania should be designated as Union testing facility for electromagnetic compatibility. (6) In accordance with Article 2 of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1267, the designation of a Union testing facility is to be reviewed on a regular basis and the time-limit for that review is to be set out in a decision to designate the testing facility, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Union testing facility for the category of electromagnetic compatibility The Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania, Mortos str. 14, LT-03219 Vilnius, Lithuania is hereby designated as a Union testing facility for electromagnetic compatibility.

Article 2

Review of the designation The designation as a Union testing facility referred to in Article 1 of this Decision shall be reviewed in accordance with Article 2 of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1267 by 14 April 2030, and every five years thereafter.

Article 3

Entry into force This Decision shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
