Council Decision (EU) 2025/633 of 24 March 2025 on the conclusion of the Agreement between the European Union and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on certain aspects of air services THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 100(2), in conjunction with Article 218(6), second subparagraph, point (a)(v), thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the European Commission, Having regard to the consent of the European Parliament Consent of 11 February 2025 (not yet published in the Official Journal). , Whereas: (1) In accordance with Council Decision (EU) 2024/1698 Council Decision (EU) 2024/1698 of 14 December 2015 on the signing, on behalf of the Union, and provisional application of the Agreement between the European Union and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on certain aspects of air services (OJ L, 2024/1698, 26.6.2024, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2024/1698/oj). , the Agreement between the European Union and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on certain aspects of air services (the Agreement) was signed on 7 June 2024, subject to its conclusion at a later date. (2) The objective of the Agreement is to bring bilateral air service agreements between seven Member States and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh into line with Union law. (3) The Agreement should be approved. (4) In accordance with the Treaties, the Commission should make the notifications provided for in Article 8(1) of the Agreement, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The Agreement between the European Union and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on certain aspects of air services (the Agreement) The text of the Agreement is published in OJ L, 2024/1699, 26.6.2024, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/agree_internation/2024/1699/oj. is hereby approved on behalf of the Union.

Article 2

The Commission shall proceed, on behalf of the Union, to make the notification provided for in Article 8(1) of the Agreement, in order to express the consent of the Union to be bound by the Agreement.

Article 3
