Council Decision (CFSP) 2025/700 of 7 April 2025 concerning restrictive measures in view of Russia’s actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 29 thereof, Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Whereas: (1) On 31 July 2014, the Council adopted Decision 2014/512/CFSP Council Decision 2014/512/CFSP of 31 July 2014 concerning restrictive measures in view of Russia’s actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine (OJ L 229, 31.7.2014, p. 13, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2014/512/oj). . (2) On 24 February 2025, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/394 Council Decision (CFSP) 2025/394 of 24 February 2025 amending Decision 2014/512/CFSP concerning restrictive measures in view of Russia’s actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine (OJ L, 2025/394, 24.2.2025, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2025/394/oj). , which amended Decision 2014/512/CFSP and introduced further restrictive measures to suspend the broadcasting activities in the Union, or directed at the Union, of certain media outlets listed in point (3) of the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2025/394. Pursuant to Article 1, point (30) of Decision (CFSP) 2025/394, the applicability of such measures in respect of one or several of those media outlets is subject to a further decision by the Council. (3) Having examined the respective cases, the Council has concluded that the restrictive measures referred to in Article 4g of Decision 2014/512/CFSP should apply as of 9 April 2025 in respect of all entities listed in point (3) of the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2025/394, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The measures referred to in Article 4g of Decision 2014/512/CFSP shall apply as of 9 April 2025 in respect of all entities listed in point (3) of the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2025/394.

Article 2
