Council Decision (EU) 2025/1552 of 3 March 2025 on the signing and conclusion of the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia establishing a framework for the participation of the Republic of Armenia in European Union crisis management operations THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 37 thereof, in conjunction with Article 218(5) and (6) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Whereas: (1) The Council, by Decision adopted on 29 April 2024, authorised the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy to open negotiations with Armenia for an agreement between the Union and Armenia establishing a framework for the participation of Armenia in European Union crisis management operations. (2) On the basis of that authorisation, such an agreement has been negotiated between the Union and Armenia. (3) The Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia establishing a framework for the participation of the Republic of Armenia in European Union crisis management operations should be approved on behalf of the Union, and its signing authorised in order to bind the Union, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia establishing a framework for the participation of the Republic of Armenia in European Union crisis management operations is hereby approved on behalf of the Union The text of the Agreement is published in OJ L, 2025/1553, 31.7.2025, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/agree/2025/1553/oj. . Its signing, expressing the consent of the Union to be bound by the Agreement, is hereby authorised.

Article 2
