Council Decision (EU) 2025/2421 of 13 November 2025 appointing two members of the Court of Auditors THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular Article 286(2) thereof, Having regard to the proposals by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Having regard to the opinions of the European Parliament Opinions of 9 September 2025 (not yet published in the Official Journal). , Whereas: (1) The term of office of Mr Stephanus Abraham BLOK is due to expire on 31 December 2025. The Kingdom of the Netherlands has proposed that he be reappointed from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2031. (2) The term of office of Ms Joëlle ELVINGER is due to expire on 31 December 2025. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has proposed that she be reappointed from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2031. (3) Mr Stephanus Abraham BLOK and Ms Joëlle ELVINGER should therefore be appointed to the Court of Auditors, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The following are hereby appointed members of the Court of Auditors for the period from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2031: Mr Stephanus Abraham BLOK, Ms Joëlle ELVINGER.
