Political and Security Committee Decision (CFSP) 2025/2466 of 2 December 2025 extending the mandate of the Head of Mission of the European Union CSDP Mission in Mali (EUCAP Sahel Mali) (EUCAP Sahel Mali/2/2025) THE POLITICAL AND SECURITY COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 38, third paragraph, thereof, Having regard to Council Decision 2014/219/CFSP of 15 April 2014 on the European Union CSDP Mission in Mali (EUCAP Sahel Mali) OJ L 113, 16.4.2014, p. 21, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2014/219/oj. , and in particular Article 7(1) thereof, Whereas: (1) Pursuant to Article 7(1) of Decision 2014/219/CFSP, the Political and Security Committee (PSC) is authorised, in accordance with Article 38, third paragraph, of the Treaty, to take the relevant decisions for the purpose of exercising the political control and strategic direction of the European Union CSDP Mission in Mali (EUCAP Sahel Mali), including the decision to appoint a Head of Mission, upon a proposal of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy (the High Representative). (2) On 28 January 2025, the PSC adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/200 Political and Security Committee Decision (CFSP) 2025/200 of 28 January 2025 extending the mandate of the Head of Mission of the European Union CSDP mission in Mali (EUCAP Sahel Mali) (EUCAP Sahel Mali/1/2025) (OJ L, 2025/200, 30.1.2025, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2025/200/oj). , extending the mandate of Mr Peter KOLDING as Head of Mission of EUCAP Sahel Mali from 1 February 2025 to 31 January 2026. (3) On 29 October 2025, the High Representative proposed to extend the mandate of Mr Peter KOLDING as Head of Mission of EUCAP Sahel Mali from 1 February 2026 until 10 April 2026, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The mandate of Mr Peter KOLDING as Head of Mission of the European Union CSDP Mission in Mali (EUCAP Sahel Mali) is extended from 1 February 2026 to 10 April 2026.

Article 2
