Political and Security Committee Decision (CFSP) 2025/2495 of 2 December 2025 extending the mandate of the Head of Mission of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia) (EUMM Georgia/1/2025) THE POLITICAL AND SECURITY COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 38, third paragraph, thereof, Having regard to Council Decision 2010/452/CFSP of 12 August 2010 on the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia, EUMM Georgia OJ L 213, 13.8.2010, p. 43, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2010/452/oj. , and in particular Article 10(1) thereof, Whereas: (1) Pursuant to Article 10(1) of Decision 2010/452/CFSP, the Political and Security Committee (PSC) is authorised, in accordance with Article 38, third paragraph, of the Treaty, to take the relevant decisions for the purpose of exercising the political control and strategic direction of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia), including the decision to appoint a Head of Mission, upon a proposal of the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security policy (the High Representative). (2) On 26 March 2024, the PSC adopted Decision (CFSP) 2024/1032 Political and Security Committee Decision (CFSP) 2024/1032 of 26 March 2024 on the appointment of the Head of Mission of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia) (EUMM GEORGIA/1/2024) (OJ L, 2024/1032, 2.4.2024, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2024/1032/oj). , appointing Ms Bettina BOUGHANI as Head of Mission of EUMM Georgia from 1 April 2024 until 14 December 2024. (3) On 2 December 2024, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2024/2988 Council Decision (CFSP) 2024/2988 of 2 December 2024 amending Decision 2010/452/CFSP on the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia, EUMM Georgia (OJ L, 2024/2988, 3.12.2024, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2024/2988/oj). , which extended the mandate of EUMM Georgia until 14 December 2026. (4) On 10 December 2024, the PSC adopted Decision (CFSP) 2024/3155 Political and Security Committee Decision (CFSP) 2024/3155 of 10 December 2024 extending the mandate of the Head of Mission of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia) (EUMM Georgia/2/2024) (OJ L, 2024/3155, 12.12.2024, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2024/3155/oj). , extending the mandate of Ms Bettina BOUGHANI as Head of Mission of EUMM Georgia from 15 December 2024 until 14 December 2025. (5) On 3 November 2025, the High Representative proposed to extend the mandate of Ms Bettina BOUGHANI as Head of Mission of EUMM Georgia from 15 December 2025 until 31 March 2026, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The mandate of Ms Bettina BOUGHANI as Head of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia) is extended from 15 December 2025 to 31 March 2026.

Article 2
