Political and Security Committee Decision (CFSP) 2026/915 of 22 April 2026 on the appointment of the Head of Mission of the European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova (EUPM Moldova) (EUPM Moldova/1/2026) THE POLITICAL AND SECURITY COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Treaty on European Union, and in particular Article 38, third paragraph, thereof, Having regard to Council Decision (CFSP) 2023/855 of 24 April 2023 on a European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova (EUPM Moldova) OJ L 110, 25.4.2023, p. 30, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2023/855/oj. , and in particular Article 8(1) thereof, Whereas: (1) Pursuant to Article 8(1) of Decision (CFSP) 2023/855, the Political and Security Committee (PSC) is authorised by the Council, in accordance with Article 38, third paragraph, of the Treaty, to take the relevant decisions for the purpose of exercising the political control and strategic direction of the European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova (EUPM Moldova), including the decision to appoint a Head of Mission upon a proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy (the High Representative). (2) On 1 April 2025, the PSC adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/686 Political and Security Committee Decision (CFSP) 2025/686 of 1 April 2025 extending the mandate of the Head of Mission of the European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova (EUPM Moldova) (EUPM Moldova/1/2025) (OJ L, 2025/686, 3.4.2025, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/dec/2025/686/oj). , extending the mandate of Mr Cosmin DINESCU as the Head of Mission of EUPM Moldova from 25 April 2025 to 24 April 2026. (3) On 23 March 2026, the High Representative proposed the appointment of Ms Kirsten JOPPE as Head of Mission of EUPM Moldova from 25 April 2026 to 31 May 2027. (4) A decision on the appointment of Ms Kirsten JOPPE as Head of Mission of EUPM Moldova from 25 April 2026 to 31 May 2027 should therefore be taken, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Ms Kirsten JOPPE is appointed as Head of Mission of the European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova (EUPM Moldova) from 25 April 2026 to 31 May 2027.

Article 2
