Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/879 of 5 December 2025 correcting certain language versions of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1669 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to the energy labelling of smartphones and slate tablets (Text with EEA relevance) THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2017 setting a framework for energy labelling and repealing Directive 2010/30/EU OJ L 198, 28.7.2017, p. 1, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2017/1369/oj. , and in particular Article 16(1) thereof, Whereas: (1) The Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Latvian, Maltese, Polish, Romanian, Spanish and Swedish language versions of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1669 Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1669 of 16 June 2023 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to the energy labelling of smartphones and slate tablets (OJ L 214, 31.8.2023, p. 9, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg_del/2023/1669/oj). contain an error in Annex III, point 2.2(a), third sentence, as regards the label insertion. The error alters the meaning of the provision, affecting its substance. The Danish language version contains an additional error. A punctuation mark was omitted between two sentences, which can lead to linguistic unclarity. (2) The Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Latvian, Maltese, Polish, Romanian, Spanish and Swedish language versions of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1669 should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
